Tyre Load
Ratings
Remember that
your MPV is a very heavy vehicle - in the case of
the Graniva, more than 2000kg - so you must ensure
you fit the correct tyres for the job. You need to
ascertain your vehicle's kerbweight, divide it by
four (to work out how much weight each wheel
carries).
As an example, if a vehicle has a kerbweight of
2000kg:
2000kg
divided by 4 wheels = 500kg = Load Index of 84
To ensure optimum safety, increase the index by +3 -
hence you would need to fit a tyre with a minimum
Load Index of 87
