My 100a done 93 mph one day, felt like it was going to suddenly disintegrate SmileySmiley, not bad for a basic Morris Minor 1000 engine Cheesy
It only ever done it once, the roads were not good enough to risk it anymore

Car 6 was a 3 door mk 3 escort in beige with an orange interior Shocked 1.1 engine, good on Irish roads as speed was out of the question (Sorry No pic of this one)
Car 7 was a cavalier, very good motor, done over 40,000 in 4 years, bought it when I came to the UK in 92. the highest milage I done in a car.
Car 8 also bought in 92, a chevette, looked fantastic, with HSR wheels and spoilers, but was a piece of pooh, no 2 of 3 chevettes
Car 9 The first of many Audi 100's, the second best out of 8 ish A CD, very comfortable, good power and reliability from the 5 pots
Car 10 River 213 Looked ok, but hateful, used almost half a gallon of oil on its maiden voyage of 250 miles Didn't keep that for long!
Car 11  Maestro EFI, good performance, went like stink to 97 ish mph, couldn't do a mile faster, Bodywork was absolutely awful, total rustbucket

Car 12 Audi 80 1.8,  The better of the 80/90 series as it felt so nimble, excellent driver, great performance from the 1.8 engine, very underrated car.
Car 13 Golf no 2, The best of 3 golfs, but still terribly disappointing 1.3 petrol, Silly faults, like the sump had to be changed because it had a rust hole SadSadSad
Car 14 Jetta 1.8, same engine as the 80, wouldn't pull the socks of you Huh?Huh?
Car 15 Passat 16v GTI, Went like stink once the revs got up, felt horrid and basic for what it was supposed to be
Car 16 Audi 100 cc 2.0  By far the best 100 I had, because it had only 48k on it when I got it, put an LPG kit on it but the kit was not complete and it never worked properly, Divorce made me sell it (the things we do for women) and it is the only other car that I regret selling.

Car 17 The first of 3 Audi 90's Felt the best too as it had been looked after 122+ mph >Cheesy
Car 18 Ford Orion 1.3 felt cheap, but a good little cheap motor Smiley
Car 19 Audi 80 TDI, the most expensive car I ever bought, the first of 2, £5000, 50,000 miles, sold it a year later due to my DHL days Sad  Excellent motor, great all round performance, looked good too.
Car 20 Audi 100, great color, cream leather interior, looked good 2.0 engine, hopeless performance
Car 21 Audi 90 number 2, 2.0 5 pots not bad performance for a 2 litre

Car 22 Audi 100 Avant Quattro,  first of 2, despite its fab title, it hummed at 70, due to a rear shunt, the seats were a special installation, but were horrible, like rough sandpaper.
Car 23 Audi 200 Avant Quattro Turbo, This was my baby, Had its pleasure for 6 days, left it at my usual garage for MOT etc, got stolen and never found Was the first of 3 of these and the only one which could be driven.............Beautiful car, needed little work, excellent potential, had it not been stolen I would probably still have it Cry
Car 24 Golf TDI estate Horrible, Horrible, Horrible
Car 25 Audi 100 2.3E Avant, Nothing special here apart from that lovely 5 pot engine
Car 26 Audi 100 Avant Quattro, Bought this as a wreck, needed an engine which it got from Car 22, it had everything, Black leather, air con, Climate control, leather steering, sports seats, went very well after engine transplant, but as with these old Audis, the roof lining came down, and there was never a way to cure this when it happened-economically

The one prob with the 10 year old dolly was the rotten petrol tank, and there was no getting a good used one as they all had the same problem.  If water got into the boot, a puddle gathered, an as the tank was about a half inch from the floor of the boot, it rusted through, any tank I found had isopon, like my own which did not work.

Bike 1,2,3,4,5 and more probably, Honda C50, they lasted around 9 months SmileySmiley:)Not fit for the woods and lumpy farmland in the west of Ireland Grin.  They were good, no doubt, considering the abuse I gave them, even got 60mph one day out of one of them.  The carriers and boxes always fell off them though Shocked
Bike 6, A C50 ''modified''
Bike 7  Honda H100, 2 stroke, noisy, thirsty UG Sad
Bike 8 A 90, modified, first gear was missing, done big mileage on it, then it suddenly died (I wonder why )  They had a teriable reputation, but in fairness this one done very well.  I always wanted a Honda 50 sport which looked like a 90.
Had my first C50 3 days before my 16th birthday, finished with bikes at 22, then the mini.  There was only one bike insurer in Ireland Norwich union, so insurance could be anything, First C50 was £60, first insurance was £60.  You could ride anything up to 150cc, so the most popular bikes were C50's and CG125's, after that (18) there were loads of CD175's around.  The worst accident I had was of a C50, I done both knees, the left knee is still bad to this day.  (sideways into a stone wall Huh?)

Bike 9 Yamaha DT 175, My only dieveeation from Honda, which was a mistake, I wanted a Honda XL185,  (one on ebay aththe moment X plate for £700 Shocked) same style as the Yamaha.  It was a 2 stroke, done 35 mpg and was a pig to start because of low compression.  It was a bucket basicaly, I made it look good but mechanicaly it was rubbish, needed an engine rebuild...............A minor fall of it (Throttle stuck, Dumped me on the road and done a fantastic wheely rider free ) and that was it, I decided no more bikes, next came the mini after having to walk for a year.
Bike 10 Honda Vigor 650, thats what I have today, Beautiful looking in yellow (Have since sprayed the side panels and front mudguard) Got it 2 years ago, still not managed to do the test, but not bothered.  If and when I go back to Ireland the test is much easier there still.

Oh and I built that shed too, out of pallets!   Before someone tells me, I'm better at shed building than bike modifying GrinGrinGrin
So I suppose I have had at least 10 bikes and at the beginning loads of spares!  I bought a C50 when I came here.  Goodness knows why Huh?
Need to get the Vigor to start, it just wont.  Any ideas, because I would like to start it weekly SadSad

I wish I had half your time and energy, never even had enough time to keep 2 cars on the go nevermind the time to buy and sell that many.

Jealous about the shed too, and the Dolomite. Loved them when I was young Grin

I love building something like that shed and other things from timber, so if someone wants a funky shed built out of timber, let me know I might be the man for the job GrinGrinGrin
