Next remove the 2 bolts securing the front grill and lift off.. you'll need to ease open the clips to release it.

Now lay the headlight lens down on the small platform on front of body work ...or on a bench.
Ease the wire retainer off the back plate and remove backplate.

Now to remove the bulb connector, release the wire retainer clip and remove the bulb.
When refitting the new bulb DO NOT touch the glass part of the bulb with bare fingers... the grease/dirt on you fingers will damage the glass.

See last picture for the High/pass bulb.

Refitting is a reversal of the previous.... make sure the headlight is back in it's original position before securing bolts..  Wink
You have just saved yourself a garage bill of 50.00 +
And feel better for it..  Wink

Mondeos are one of the biggest pains in the butt for changing the headlight...and why oh why do the bulbs have to go in the rain..then you got to stand outside..miserable...while that last screw just turns and turns and does not release? Grin

Not on an Emmy mk1, think they're peanut style but to be honest it would be best to take one out and visit Halfords across the road from me and compare.

Might be worth a laugh asking them if they have bulbs for an Estima first Tongue

Cheaper than going anywhere else for bulbs, it's less than 1/4 mile from my house Tongue

Half**ds is actually so close to my house I could actually go there convince them that parts from cars in this country do fit imports and get home before I'd been served at the local factors.......or just walk there and save the fuel instead Tongue
