I cannot recommend Gary and his team at GT MOTORS enough....on several occasions Gary has been more than happy to help over the phone with mechanical queries.
He can also supply parts and generally gets them to you in 1-2 days of paying.

Gary has agreed to offer the "members" of this site a special conscession.

Please contact him with your enquiries and when doing so mention that you are a member on this site.

He will contact us for clarification of membership.

Gary has been very supportive of many members on this site already including myself when in a recent situation he was able to advise us over the phone of the correct procedure required to help us.  Also, offered  me a price for a potential part that would be needed if the procedure didn't work.

Gary has agreed to support any enquiries made by our members.

Thanks  Gary for your support when I needed it you are a true professional.

A big thanks needs to go to GT Gary for all his help in making the Coventry Head Meet go ahead.

With the assistance of Ian at the Head Centre they have managed to make decent concession for all the parts.

He is also giving phone support for the lads involved in the head operation.

 Wink

As the site Guru for mechanics Gary is very approachable and is more than happy to help with enquiries.

Long live the partnership. Wink

...and still has the Minder theme - it played a few times when we were in the office!

Just had to come and say what a fantastic job Gary and his colleagues at GT Motors did with my car.   Grin

Had a week's holiday so decided to take it in Devon as the car needed a LOT of work and I felt safer going with a specialist - best decision I could've made.

He was happy to sit and chat with us about the problems, not rushing us out the door.  Prewarned of any possible extra expenditures, and after we'd gone through my list of what I thought needed doing, he showed me which bits were luxuries rather than essentials, so I could save a few bob.  How many garages do that?!

I see in our future holidays to Devon at least once a year!  Cheesy  Unless we can persuade Gary to move to the sunny Milton Keynes  Grin

While i was doing my engine change over the weekend i got stuck with changing gearboxes, auto converter, how to get off.
Then remembered that i seen a  post on here to try Gary at GT Motors.
So i did on a saturday, to my relief he was open, Gary advised me on what to do and within a few minutes i had the job done
I would like to say a big thank you to Gary and Gt Motors, a credit to this website
Cheers.

I had to do a drop off at Newton Abbott Tesco's... but unfortunately due to being delayed by previous stores I couldn't stop in for a cuppa and a chat with Gary... was gutted as planned to make it my dinner break.. knowing he still owes me a blueberry muffin from my last visit to see him..

Glad to se you're bus is sorted now Roccopark...  so no excuse not to attend one of the next meets.. TongueWink

I knew he'd help out on the phone with advise... as he always does...  Wink

See you Gary next time I'm passing by..  Grin

I'm still looking for my first Estima, you know the one that has had all the work done and is in first class order with no faults for next door too nothing :Smiley

I rang Gary on Saturday to see if he could help me on my mission.  After 17 minutes of constant non stop good advice I had to stop him and tell him to get back to work!  A dam nice fella and I'm not even a customer, yet  Wink

Did you ask Gary what buses he had in stock... as he also sells them.
Buying from him you know it's in good condition and been thoroughly checked over before even going near the forecourt. Wink

Don't forget to mention you're a member here.. might help with club discount..  Wink

Hi
Many thanks.  I did realise he also sold them and to be honest i think you're spot on it would be the way for me to go.  Again to underline the God like status that is Gary from GT Motors he told me that he's been very busy and that his current stock is "depleted".  I just don't know how to cope with such honesty from a garage Shocked
You've probably noticed a £500 Estima advertised in the guardian with an engine fault.  I asked Gary if I bought it what the likely costs would be too "square it up".  Once again he gave me top advice.  I had a look at the car on Saturday and wasn't impressed so won't be heading down that road.  As it's half term I've some time off this week so if I can persuade/trick the wife into going for a "nice drive to Newton Abbot" I could take a look at Gary's "depleted stock".  He may well have what I'm looking for but is far to modest to say Wink

If you go and see him... watch out for any blueberry muffins you have on you... he does like them. Tongue

I was within 300 yards of his garage on thursday.. but as I was in a loaded up 7.5 tonne truck and heavy traffic I needed to get on with delivering so I could get home... gutting as wanted to say Hi.. Undecided
