I need a new car
« on: March 25, 2008, 12:32:06 PM »

Well I came back from Devon yesterday and no matter what I did with my seat I got pain in my hips/lower back. This is no good and means that although I was mega impressed with the mondeo's towing ability (considering it is petrol and only 2.0) it has to be replaced before I do many more long trips. I have a few quid coming to me in a bonus so think I will probably be able to scrape about £3k together including what I will get for the mondeo...

I would rather have 4*4
I would rather have decent fuel economy when in the car on my own (most of the time)
I need space to move in thee car and to put stuff in it
It needs to be able to tow a reasonable size caravan with ease
I like high cars
It has to be economical in terms of insurance and tax

Any ideas.....

Estima Wink Cool

I would rather have 4*4 Yep

I would rather have decent fuel economy when in the car on my own (most of the time) 30-35 mpg but on svo at at least 30p per litre cheaper than petrol

I need space to move in thee car and to put stuff in it yep and room for more

It needs to be able to tow a reasonable size caravan with ease yep one of the best towing cars very stable

I like high cars yep

It has to be economical in terms of insurance and tax yep £250 fully comp standard road tax

Try Algys Autos and mention our site he offered a free underseal with a car if brought from him with our recommendation.
