Just to let the fifers know. And others if interested. Have managed to find someone who i work with who has  Halfords trade card. So he gets a cut price on car maintenance stuff, ie oils filter(even though ebay better) and tools. says i can use whenever i want. so if you ever in need of anything and give warning will be able to use it for you.

IMHO halfords is a 'last resort' type of place - somewhere you go when everywhere else is shut and you're desperate. ShockedShocked

I can recomend a decent motor factor or two in Dunfermline if you like and there's a small independent garage in Dalgety Bay that won't rip you off - pm me if you're interested.

I like the small independant garage bit. Grin

Would the motor factors work out cheaper than halfords even with a trade card. Huh?

Depends on the trade discout given at halfords, it might be at cost Undecided,

I was in a motor factors the other day buying some filters, I happened to notice in the back ground they had a huge order ready to go out to Halfords. Wink
