Today Kimberley and me got to meet a fellow cornish club member...

sohappy  aka Terry... whilst at McD's this morning getting some free mugs..lol

I had to force myself to have a double egg McMuffin meal...this hardship..  Tongue

As mentioned , in the queue to collect his McD for him and his partner was Terry..

As was ordering inside... he came upto me and said.."Hello, are you Paul...?"
I replied yes  , to which he said... "Are you Kernowman...?  I'm Terrry , we spoke online and you helped me with my estima..."

He said he was going to go online more and how where we... as he has been back and forth from Germany in his bus.
He needs a headlight and a few other bits for the MOT, and is going to contact GT Gary for the bits on my suggestion.
He might even make it to Perran Sands in May as he too has a tourer and likes the site... so hopefully another member to add to list of attendees...  might even get him to go to the Bristol meet to meet you other nutters from up north... lol

So... Welcome again Terry to the site .     GrinGrin

Blimey hadn't realised I had made it into here !  I am up & down like a turbo yoyo between Kernow & Yeovil so don't get to go online as much though that scurring around stops this summer but not in time to make Perran  Embarrassed  however Kernow based again (unless company HR have another group bonding lobotomy) and hope to get out and about again escpcialy as I've just had the SADS couplings and timing belt done for the summer

We tried the next day to get to your camp on the rugby pitch and spent two hours sat in grid locked traffic on the approach to the roundabout.  We did have a grandstand view through our open moonroof of the Red Arrows etc but after two hours without moving at boiling point (that was a HOT day) we had to abandon and go back to our caravan site (via many diversions).  Next time lucky ?.....

Yep traffic was insane, thought about taking the car to the balloons but realised that the car park was probably just as far away from them as the site

The Saturday was particularly bad. Cars were gridlocked for hours even at the site. The car parks were heaving, and they spread over a lot more of the site than last year.

They even started to invade our campsite, the organisers of the caming quickly decided there was beer money/fund raising to be had and charged them an entrance fee Cool

Might as well make something out of it as they would never manage to move them all on Tongue
