The Subaru just had to go.................so here is yet another car!!.
« on: March 08, 2009, 09:26:28 AM »

The Subaru and I were never going to get on for, many reasons, least of all, the fact that I could barely fit into !! :Smiley
Anyway, I'm going to try and sell it this week, but I've bought another little/medium sized runaround in the meantime, and I really rather like it...............

It's in lovely condition both mechanically and cosmetically. It's the non-turbo 1900 Diesel lump, so don't expect any land speed records anytime soon!!! GrinWink

That's the XUD lump...brilliant diesel lumps...real workhorse engines..
I had 2 405s.. a 1.9 GR estate and a 1.9 TD GTX estate.

They where great motors and really reliable.
You can also...if they have the BOSCH pump..run them on veg..  WinkGrin

As it goes...I have a set of injectors in my bits...removed them from my 1.9 GR ..in good condition... I'll send them up to you when I finally manage to sort new garage out.
But need my bond make from old place so I can get a shed first..   Sad

Was just thinking the same Cool

French cars might be euro rot-boxes* but they can sure make an engine Grin

*this opinion could be biased after my pug's monumental MOT failure Cool

The Forester is tight for room in the back seats mate, and from memory, your about the same height as me, you'd struggle driving it. The steering whell is too far forward, so you have your seat reclined so far that it takes up all the room for the rear passengers. leg room leaves a little to be desired too.

I like the legacy, real big cars by the look of them. Hope you enjoy your citreon Swanny, Personally i hate citreons. Tongue
Did not realise the forester was that small though.
