Other websites/resources

This is a question for the moderator/s,  I have found some other websites, estima related, is it permissable to supply the web addresses here for the benefit of other forum users?
(I know or should I say dint know about such things as copyright infringement and some site owners simply don't want either their sites mentioned or don't want to mention other sites,  A fragile topic apparently!)

Oh and do you have car stickers available?

Many thanks

Tom

Tom, the easiest thing to do would send me a PM with your proposed links. I can let you know which ones are able to be posted!!!. LOL, sounds wierd I know, but our members get heavily moderated elsewhere!!.
Cheers mate,

Tom, we do try and set  up relationships with these sites and have a team that work on this constantly... at the very least we try and ensure that wehn we link to a site the site links back to us.. I believe there may be some vacancies on the development team shortly so if you are interested keep your eyes open for the posting.. in the meantime by all means send the links you are keen to share to Swanny or another mod / admin and we can look at them for you..

Cant remember who or what was on my mind the time I started this thread but several ''experiances'' since has made me change my mind..... 1 the supplier who charged twice GT Garys price for something, and 2 (even worse) the guy who put the price up 4 times on a load of parts..........needless to say he still has them! Yep, Mark and Swannys posts above give you the best way of doing so, but as you say, experience shows it's not always easy to support certain suppliers once you get to know them.

no harm from a liability point of view in posting things that are provably true.. if you want to name and shame but aren't sure then by all means PM one of the admins for advice..

I know of a garage in Portveiw Rd, Avonmouth ( one I used to work for but under new management), that I will happily name and shame ... they are a bunch of cowboys.
I popped in to see if I could find the source of the oil leak I got on M5 heading to Santa Pod.
Went in, enngine running whilst on lift...
Oil in front wheel arch... so they immediately stated it was the fuel pump that was gone.
I pointed out the engine was running fine...
they mentioned they could smell veg and that was what caused the leak.

So I then pointed out... that as estimas are mid engined and pump wasn't leaking... how coulrd the oil make it's way to the front wheel arch.
And you can clearly see it was the seal on the front axle that had leaked... spreading oil all along the under side finally hitting the exhaust as I drove over the Avon Bridge.

I politely told them I would name & shame them online for trying to sell me a £500- pump + labour.. when the pump was perfectly good and the real fault was a £5- oil seal.

k88due I got your PM and i can't see anything in there that would be an isue to post providing you keep hold of the original emails etc from the sellers in case they cut up rough later.. which they probably wont from the sound of them they aren't anywhere near professional enough to guard their reputation..
