was that the 2.9 or the 3.6 litre?

I had a 1985 series 3 4.2 sovereign.i loved it,but it was very thirsty even with twin fuel tanks.most economical engine was the 3.6 litre as the 2.9 was under powered.Mine was surprisingly quick for a a heavy car Grin

Just been lent a K reg 3.2s Jag by my brother whilst I'm back in England for a couple of weeks. I'm surprised by the fuel economy of 30mpg (obviously unless I boot it!). Used to have a BMW 735 which I loved but had to part with due to lack of fuel economy (15mpg). Bought that for £480 with 12 months mot and full BMW service history and sold it 3 months later for £1000  Grin
