« on: March 19, 2010, 03:06:35 PM »

hi all  Smiley

i have been offered some mr2 wheels cheap there 205/45/16 and the standered wheels i have are 205/70/14 is there going to be a problam appart from the speedo readin to fast?

will the wheels be strong anuff for my esti?

i was going to use the tyre that came with the wheels till they are worn out then put some bigger ones on it to make the speedo right what do you think?

I'm guessing that they would be unsuitable. The Esti probably weighs more than twice the MR2.

Definetly not, your Estima is twice the weight of the MR2 and the wheels would not be strong enough for it.
Have a look at the threads about wheels, lots of info there.

The Lexus wheels are probably the best option if you really want them, Always liked 5 spokes and they look fantastic as they did on mine....they were off an IS 200.
My previous Estima, Pinky had these when I had to sell her, they were perfect Embarrassed
