i went in tesco t'other day - 3.64 for the 3 liter bottles!!!

amazing how they go up in price at the same time as diesel rising - wich is WRONG
getting to the point it will be cheaper to actually run on diesel  Shocked
soon even takeaways will cotton on to their waste veg supply demand ii reckon

gonna buy some land and plant some rape seed i think lol

There's quite a few selling old veg on ebay... they know they can sell it, but unless you live near them to collect yourself it works out more then the price of new veg.

I popped into bookers... had same shock as 20ltr ktc was over 21.00. This time last year it was around 14- to 15- quid price mark.  Cry

The supply of old wvo I still have is slow and a lot less than I used to be able to get.... have even had to run on diesel...  CryCryCryCry

Nah it's fairly normal, cost of oil seems to depend on cost of fuel. Farmers use fuel, transporting it around uses fuel and then there's the demand created by the new veg users that give it a go everytime fuel takes another jump.

With only a few happy exceptions veg has always been 30 ish pence lower than diesel, I can remember when veg was 38p a litre and diesel was only 65p Cool
