Tow bar anyone?
« on: February 14, 2012, 03:54:22 PM »

Took my towbar off today.WHY you say? Well I don't tow.never did,go no intentions of towing.Think my engine works hard enough already(that's you do your own thing Grin)
Any how I was always getting a "BULB OUT" light on the dash, when I inspected the rear light clusters, the wiring looked like some kid had,had a field day with a BIG PACKET of scotch clips + loads of PRETTY COLOURED WIRES!! So as I don't tow(and to save weight Huh?) I clipped the added on wiring(testing my lights as I go) all OK. Then unbolted the towball bracket, with electrics, then 5 bolts to free the long bar that runs across the chassis and holds the tow bracket/ball/electrics.
Also out came this long thing,,,RYDER TF1170-2 Smart Combi Relay  20amp   and a square box TEB7AS  7 way universal bypass relay

If any one want the little stuff,or the lot £10.00 as long as your local and can pick up cos I'm not gonna attempt to post, cos of the weight,
